現任行政院環境保護署廢棄物管理處處長，畢業於成功大學環境工程學系、國立台北大學自然資源與環境管理所碩士，專長為環境政策及環境經濟學。賴處長從事廢棄物管理工作已超過20年，參與行政院環境保護署多項重大政策推動與制定，現正致力於臺灣循環經濟政策之推動。
Ms Lai is the current Director-general of the Department of Waste Management, Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan. She graduated from the Department of Environmental Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, and acquired a master’s degree from the Institute of Natural Resources Management, National Taipei University, specializing in environmental policies and environmental economics. Director-general Lai has been engaged in waste management for over 20 years, and is involved in the promotion and formulation of many important policies launched by the Environmental Protection Administration. She is now working on Taiwan’s circular economy policies.
