This parallel panel event will discuss the role of women, through non-profit non-governmental organizations, in the making of public policies in the pan-pacific region, including the United States, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan…etc.
The panel will share the best practices of policy initiatives and advocacy by women in NGOs, how to overcome challenges through the power of inter-organizational cooperations, how do NGOs supervise the government after the legislation is passed, and share the responsibility for the implementation of social policies, through intersectional intergenerational cooperation.
